About Us

I started sewing when I was a little girl and even tried to use my grandmothers treadle machine. I Used needle and thread to sew fabric swatches together for blankets and doll clothes. Not sure if I ever really finished much those days or not...been a long time ago. I learned to crochet and make paper dolls. I taught my girls and grandaughters to do similar crafting, and they in turn have learned a lot on their own, and have taught me new things. I have always loved the arts of crafting and watched every show possible on TV for many years to learn as much as I could consume. I was addicted. They say "she who dies with the most fabric wins", well I am close to a winner there. When I worked, I would sew at night and take things to work all the time to sell to my friends...IT WAS A BLAST!!!! There was always someone that wanted something special...so I just made it...I am retired now with a disability for 23 years. I have a form of MD. I am not in a wheel chair yet, but I am sure in the future I will be. So I get to sit on my 'fanny' all day and play....What fun!!!!! I have a wonderful husband that gives me a 1000% of support...God Bless Him....I have 17 grandchildren and expecting #3 and #4 in the greats in a couple months. My family would fill up at least 4 pews in church, so there are many that I can express my love for my craft by giving them gifts of love. Now I am playing with dolls again and cutting and pasting like in kindegarden...we go in circles for sure. With God's blessing and my family's support, I will truly enjoy sharing my love of the crafts with you. For me life is one blessing after the other. My favorite saying ...
